You should backup 3 files: overlay.ini overlay_garage.ini input_bindings.ini Find the files in the location stated below: rfactor Plugins rfDynHud config Useage: Press 'UP' arrow to open and close the visor (best assigned to a wheel button where possible). Reassign the imagewidgets 2+3 and 4 to your specified button for proper operation or 'UP' arrow will be your only way of opening-closing the visor!! Installation: Unzip to the desktop and paste the Plugins folder to the root of rfactor (only after backing up your original ini files that are listed above), launch the game then exit to the garage to view the helmet and test 'UP' after exiting the pit lane to open-close the visor. Aah Enduracers. I need to re-dress something with these guys. I have, in the past, been quite critical of this mod for its rear end physics. The rest of the mod looked and sounded great. But for whatever reason I struggled with it and I made it known. The result of that meant I didn’t play the mod because it was frustrating when the rear was stepping out during turn-in.

I decided to load up the mod a couple of days ago. Dunno why, maybe to see how long I would last with it. Now, I don’t know what’s changed since the last time I played it, apart from a replacement wheel, but I picked out a GT1 Lambo and I was on it, setting a decent pace.

A quick check of the driver assists and I saw that I had High TC on 🙁 This was left over from when I was testing something in rF1 the last time I used it. So took TC off (even though the real cars had it I believe) and made sure all the other assists except auto-clutch were off. Went back out and beat my previous time.

I had turned down the steering ratio in the setup so it wasn’t as twitchy and played with the diff, but that’s about it. Then I grabbed the GT2 Porsche, the car that gave me so much grief before. Again, no issues. I dunno what’s changed between then and now or why I found it so un-driveable before. I have since been racing lots of historic cars on the Nordschliefe so maybe I’ve improved or changed my driving style now that I’m not so much on F1 mods.

Guess it will be a mystery. But either way, this mod really is damn good. So I just wanna give a big thumbs up to the Enduracers guys and I take back every negative thing I said about the mod.

I look forward to future versions of this great mod.
