Best Garmin For Truck Drivers
I have had two different Garmins and bought them as 'Last Years' models. That is to say tehy didn't have the latest updates on them however the seller on Amazon offered an update included in the purchase price. And the price was about half of the 'Current' model offered for sale. My only suggestion outside of that is getting the traffic update in whatever brand you buy. I have had great luck with this as it alerts you to a delay and the approx level of that delay in time.
The 5 Best Truck GPS Systems September, 2018 (And 6 Other Models). Garmin Dezl 770LMTHD. Magellan RoadMate RC9485T-LMB Gps For Truck Drivers. A 7-inch screen.
It also of course tells you where the delay is which gives you an opportunity to devert or stay with it depending on your situation. I will say also that the information can be a little misleading because I have gotten to a specific place looking for the delay and it was already gone and my Garmin hadn't updates to show the delay being gone. Its also been said here that the best gps is a map. I agree with this to an extent but having the added information of speed, distance and other trip data has been very helpful from time to time. Good Luck in your search. Whatever you buy will quickly become a part of your daily routine.

Truck GPS units make it easy to go to locations one has never gone to before. Making routes based on hazmat restrictions, semi-truck size limits including bridge clearance, speed limits meant specifically for truckers, and truck-specific points of interest like truck stops, weigh stations, convenient parkings, and lodging accomodations with large parkings. The models listed here are specifically tagged by their manufacturers as truck-specific with features beneficial for truckers and large displays. The Garmin Dezl 570LMT is designed mainly as a GPS for trucks, although, according to one reviewer, it could also prove to be a reasonable purchase for those who drive smaller vehicles or cannot make space for large 7-inch units. Like most other 5-inch trucker GPS models, this 4-star unit pretty much offers the fundamentals, such as truck routing (obviously for customized routing, depending on the weight and dimensions of your vehicle) as well as a digital log of things like fuel usage and truck maintenance. Out of the Dezl 570LMT's 271 reviews, the most positive ones include a reviewer commenting on its efficient trucking routes and easy free updates, while others kept their comments short and simple, saying things like it works well and my husband loves it. Another user praised this 5-inch trucker GPS's routing system, calling it a huge time-saver, but also noted that it occasionally gets speed limits wrong, buy hey, what kind of GPS does not have hiccups once in a while, right?

No GPS is perfect and worth blindly following after all, as one user puts it. A few buyers were not as enthusiastic, however, with most of the negative stuff being thrown at this truck GPS unit focusing on its being defective right out of the box -- a recurring occasional complaint with most consumer products, especially that some of these users were talking about a refurbished unit. Some users also cautioned that it has tendencies of taking you on weird routes (GPS should never be taken without a grain of salt) and it sometimes failed to locate even prominent addresses. At the end of the day, our review crawler algorithm, after weaving its way through a total of 1626 reviews for truck GPS systems, concluded that the Garmin Dezl 570LMT is pretty much the number one () truck GPS out there, with a confidence level of 99 () as an eye-pleasing byproduct. Because most trucks have large dashboards, the dezl 760LMT (like other 7-inch truck GPS units) addresses this issue by simply being more visible with a display size of 7 inches while also featuring a few bells and whistles designed to meet the needs of today's truckers. While the dezl 760LMT's large display makes it easier to see what's on the screen, Garmin also claims that the 'extra loud' enhanced speakers are designed to make it easier to listen to spoken turn-by-turn directions.
